What to Expect
At each Living Opera — Portland Circle event, you can be sure to hear beautiful music, learn something, and come away refreshed.
Each event lasts around 60 minutes comprising musical performance and education about music.
After each performance, there is a meet and greet where you can speak with the artists and other audience members while enjoying some free beverages and snacks.
Attendance is free, parking is free, and you can come dressed however you would like.
The Founding Fellow
There is no better tool than music for understanding ourselves or understanding what it means to be human. It interacts, intersects, and interweaves with all components of life and culture — language, poetry, literature, comedy. Music is as accessible as a piece of visual art and as expressive as words.
